Bird Netting

Net covering courtyard area to protect buiding keeping out pest birds. Bird Control Nettin

Bird and pigeon netting, if professionally installed, provides one of the most effective ways of preventing bird access to buildings. Its effectiveness, though, is dependent on the correct net size being selected for the birds being deterred, and on covering every gap or ledge that can be exploited by the birds. When professionally installed, netting is difficult to see and can be expected to last for several years. Compliance Pest Control can use these systems for pigeons, starling, gulls and various other problem birds.  Contact our specialist team for a free survey and quotation.

Bird Spike Installation

Bird Spikes are safe deterrent methods that encourage birds to leave preferred roosting locations. Bird spike are effective solutions in urban pest control. Nevertheless, they should solely be applied in areas where birds are 'roosting' or 'resting,' and not in places where nesting is happening. Pigeon Waste Cleaning & Decontamination

Pigeon waste and guano can cause irreversible damage to building surfaces resulting in the scarring of building fabric, damaging appearance and, potentially, causing thousands of pounds worth of damage. Studies have shown that the corrosive effects can continue for a long time after the building fabrication has been contaminated, even if the fouling is removed. Pigeons are also known to pose a significant health risk to the public. There have been a number of documented cases of transmissions of illness from feral pigeons to humans.  Rest assured our team can provide full cleaning and decontamination of your bird waste and provide your with a proposal to prevent recurrence. We are registered waste carriers and Safe Contractor Approved.

Tailored Gull Management Plans

If the presence of gulls is causing or expected to cause a public health or safety issue at your business, it is critical to address this at the earliest possible opportunity to minimize the risks posed. Failing to do this not only increases the risk, but also means that it is unlikely to provide a longer-term solution to problems.

A Gull Management Plan from Compliance Pest Control  will set out a coordinated program of actions which will need to be carried out to address any public health and safety problems that the gulls are causing.

Our plan will provide a clear means by which you can plan and put in place actions to try to avoid gulls becoming a problem in the first place. This will be a three-stage process:

Stage 1 - Environmental Improvement Plan – Waste management, litter etc.

Stage 2 - Non-lethal control & Deterrent Program

Stage 3 - Lethal Control Program (Licensed activities - Natural Resources Wales & Natural England) Last resort stage
